Inaugural OEM Appreciation Luncheon

On September 6th, UCLA’s Office of Emergency Management had the distinct pleasure to express their gratitude for the hard work in emergency preparedness and response of UCLA employees at the Inaugural Appreciation Luncheon. This luncheon was attended by over 200 UCLA employees who volunteer to serve as Wardens, members of UCLA’s Campus Emergency Operations Group (CEOG), and members of UCLA’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). These volunteers are an integral component of UCLA’s ability to prepare for and respond to emergency events on campus.

In particular, the Office of Emergency Management recognized eight individuals who have gone above and beyond in their volunteer roles. Their dedication to the safety of their colleagues, and the university community as a whole, is demonstrated by their hard work and time commitment. They are a great example to us all. Please join us in congratulating:

Awardees
  • Hien McKnight, Certificate of Recognition
